MAYOR DEAN HOSTS PUBLIC VIEWING OF CITY TRUCKS DISPLAYING STUDENT ARTWORK

Student artists and their families were treated to a public viewing of their winning artwork from the “Beautiful Nashville Says ‘NO’ to Trashville” art contest.

Mayor Karl Dean and other Metro officials, Metro Arts Commission members, and school representatives were on hand to congratulate the students at the unveiling on Saturday morning at LP Field.  The winning 61 entries in this year’s contest were selected for display on the sides of city waste trucks.
