Teacher Workshop: Project WILD

Project WILD is a popular interdisciplinary conservation and environmental education program emphasizing wildlife.  Teachers will receive a Project WILD curriculum guide filled with fun activities for grades K-12 that are correlated to meet state standards.

Full Moon Pickin’ Party

Find your inner nature-artist! Create a “garden” of native plant materials and watch it float down the creek. Sculpt snakes, turtles, and other wildlife using mud and sand, or create a seed blitz full of native seeds to plant at home.

“Little Pumpkins”

The Old Tree Drawing Workshop with Artist Charles Brindley

During this workshop artist Charles Brindley will instruct participants in the creative process and the art of drawing and painting trees. The workshop features an all-day outdoor session focusing on drawing directly from trees in the Warner Parks and will also emphasize drawing techniques and finishing skills. Workshop includes a $90 participation fee (benefiting the Friends of Warner Parks).
