Metro Arts Commission Showcases Work of Local Artists

Metro Arts Commission has expanded its services to visual artists by exhibiting local artists’ works in 3 gallery shows throughout the year, in addition to the Artist Registry’s virtual exhibit always available online.

The current gallery exhibit, with opening reception on Friday, March 30 from 2 – 5 p.m., will feature original works by three local artists: Kaaren Hirschowitz Engel, Anne Goetze and Loretta A. Kaufman. Artists’ works can also be viewed on Metro Art’s online Artist Registry at www.artsnashville.org/registry.

Exhibit Dates: March 16– July 13, 2007, 8:30AM – 4:00PM, Mon. – Fri.

The Metro Arts Gallery is a high-vaulted, expansive, light-filled space on the fourth floor of the Metro Office Building on the Richard Fulton Complex (formerly known as the Howard School Complex). Exhibiting artists are selected from those participating in MNAC’s online Artist Registry, which links artists with a wide audience of Nashvillians, Tennesseans, and arts enthusiasts throughout the world.
