Metro Public Health Department Back-to-School Immunization Fast Track Clinic Opens August 8th

The Metro Public Health Department is preparing to open its Fast Track Immunization Clinic that will provide immunizations for Davidson County children going back to school. Last year nearly 2,500 immunizations were provided at the Health Department’s Fast Track Clinic.

The Health Department will open its Fast Track Clinics at the Lentz Health Center auditorium August 8th. Children’s immunizations are also available at the Health Department’s East Health Center and Woodbine Health Center.

The Fast Track Clinic at the Lentz Health Center will be open from 8 a.m. until 3 p.m., Monday, August 8th through Friday, August 12th and again Monday, August 15th.

For more information about children’s immunizations or the Fast Track Clinic, Davidson County parents should call the Health Department at 340-5667, Monday – Friday, 8 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.

Parents are urged to bring their child’s shot record to confirm which immunizations are needed.

The Metro Health Department provides free immunizations throughout the year to children who live in Davidson County at all three health department locations -- Lentz Public Health Center, 311 23rd Avenue North; East Nashville Public Health Center, 1015 East Trinity Lane; and the Woodbine Public Health Center, 224 Oriel Avenue.
