The Middle Tennessee Diversity Forum is a workforce collaborative designed to build and benchmark workplace diversity initiatives. It strives to:

  1. Build diversity awareness in the community and share best practices among the members;
  2. Provide an opportunity for the members to network; and
  3. Assist companies in Middle Tennessee in enhancing, supporting and strengthening their commitment to diversity.

September 22, 2009, Cracker Barrel Old Country Store, Inc. partnered with the Nashville Career Advancement Center to sponsor the Middle Tennessee Diversity Forum’s “Diversity Driving Innovation-Chat with the Chief.” News Channel 4’s Jennifer Johnson moderated a panel discussion featuring corporate leaders, including Cracker Barrel COO, Doug Barber, University of Tennessee, Knoxville, Chancellor Jimmy Cheek and Southwest Airlines General Manager, Eli Rodriguez. The forum was held at the Cracker Barrel corporate headquarters in Lebanon.
