Career Coaching:

I am ready for a new career and I need some help developing a career search strategy. Who can I talk with to get started?

NCAC’s Career Coaches work with individuals to explore career options, decide on a direction, target a career or industry, then strategize and market oneself for the job search.

Assessments can help job seekers explore themselves in order to determine an industry preferences or types of jobs to pursue. NCAC has 3 types of assessments: skill-based (WorkKeys), personality (Myers Briggs) and interest (Strong Interest Inventory)

Workshops help develop a plan of action. The information may vary based on needs for each location from basic resume writing and interviewing skills to more advanced level career search information such as negotiating a salary.

Networking Meetings provide insight and knowledge about the world of work from career and job search experts in the community.

Support from our Coaches on Resumes and Mock Interviews provide the necessary feedback to help each customer improve his or her marketing plan.
