Amendments to the Gallatin Pike SP are pending
The Metropolitan Council approved the Gallatin Pike SP in July 2007;that zoning addresses how land will be used, where new buildings can be placed and how large they can be, parking, street access, signage, landscaping and other important issues in the Gallatin Road corridor from Main Street to Briley Parkway in East Nashville.

Dickerson Pike sign standards updated
The Metropolitan Council approved an amended Urban Design Overlay on July 15, 2008, which provides standards for new signs along Dickerson Pike in lower East Nashville. That UDO is intended to reduce visual clutter and encourage appropriate scale and design.Amended Dickerson Pike sign guidelines
Updated East Nashville Community Plan
The Planning Commission adopted an updated East Nashville Community Plan on February 9, 2006. Changes included the adoption of Detailed Neighborhood Design Plans (DNDPs) for the Cleveland Park, McFerrin Park, Greenwood, East Hill, Renraw, and South Inglewood (West) neighborhoods.
