EXECUTIVE ORDER 92-06

Subject: Procurement Appeals Board

I, Philip Bredesen, Mayor of The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County, by virtue of the power and authority vested in me, do hereby direct and order that:

1 . The Procurement Appeals Board, established in the 1992 Procurement Code as codified in the Metropolitan Code of Laws, Article IV, Section 2, shall be composed of five (5) members, including a chairperson appointed by the Mayor. The members of the Board may be directors, department heads, or other officials of Metropolitan Government in similar positions as determined by the Mayor.

2. The members of the Board, including the chairperson, shall serve at the Mayor's discretion.

3. The Procurement Appeals Board shall adopt rules of procedure which, to the fullest extent possible, will provide for the expeditious resolution of controversies.

4. This Executive Order supersedes and replaces Executive Order No. 76-09.
