Summer Food Services for Children

Purpose...

To provide a nutritionally balanced meal for low-income children who participate in the free and reduced school lunch program during regular school.

Who We Serve...

Meals are available to children through age 18 and disabled individuals through age 25. All children in attendance are served the same meal at no charge, regardless of race, color, age, sex, disabling conditions, or national origin.

Service Dates...

The Summer Food Services Program begins June 2, 2008 and continues through July 25, 2008. Meals are served at sites through out Davidson County. Sites include Metropolitan Parks and Recreation, Metropolitan Public Summer Schools, Community Centers, Churches and other local organizations throughout the Davidson County Community.
