Nashville DID! Diversity in Dialogue Study Circles
Nashville DID! Diversity in Dialogue program brings people from diverse backgrounds together to hold honest dialogues on race relations, cultural and ethnic diversity, promoting stronger communities and promotes further understanding among the people of Nashville. The local leader in administering the program is Scarritt-Bennet Center.
With the support of the Metro Council, under the leadership of Council Lady Brenda Gilmore, the Metro Human Relations Commission has been awarded $10,000 in additional funding to support an increased level of diversity dialogues occurring through Metro Government and in support of the Scarritt-Bennett Center program.
The Human Relations Commission along with Nashville DID! Study Circles will convene, facilitate, and support the development of Study Circle dialogues. These Study Circles and Race/Diversity efforts by the Commission will occur in FY03’.
