Healthy Nashville
Healthy Nashville is an initiative of the Mayor’s Office to continually improve the health and quality of life of all Nashvillians by mobilizing community efforts to reduce the impact of three strategic issues: obesity, tobacco use and disparities in heart disease, diabetes and cancer.
Healthy Nashville is guided by the Healthy Nashville Leadership Council and supported by the Metro Public Health Department.
Mayor’s Let’s Get Moving Challenge
In conjunction with National Public Health Week, Mayor Karl Dean has issued a challenge to the city to “get moving” from April 7 - 13.
