Unclaimed Property
elcome to the web site of the Division of Unclaimed Property for the Metropolitan
Government of Nashville & Davidson County. The Unclaimed Property
Division is part of the Department of Finance of the Metropolitan

The Division of Unclaimed Property endeavors to reunite property owners with their property that is in possession of the Metropolitan Government. Unclaimed property can include, but is not limited to, payments from Metro Departments that were not cashed or actual physical property that was left in possession of a Metro Department. If after an attempt to contact the property owner has been made and the property owner has not placed a claim on the unclaimed property, the funds or property are then turned over to the State of Tennessee Division of Unclaimed Property.
