Valuing Our Employees
Metro Nashville Government is one of Middle Tennessee’s largest employers. The nearly 20,000 employees of the Metro Nashville Government work to make Nashville a better place for all of us every day. The Metro Nashville Government has made it a priority to ensure its employees are paid at levels comparable to what the marketplace is offering.
A measure of that priority for the fiscal year 2006 (July 2005 – June 2006) includes:
- 95% Percentage of Metro pay grades/classifications comparable with market rate
