The two General Funds provide for the traditional operating services of the government. These funds receive property and sales taxes, charges for services, fines, penalties, and other revenues.

WeBudget Receives Digital Government Achievement Award Metro Nashville was awarded the Digital Government Achievement Award from The Center for Digital Government in the Government internal category for its WeBudget application. WeBudget is a web-based budget preparation and management system developed cooperatively by teams from the Office of Management and Budget and Information Technology Services.
