Agricultural Extension Service

Natural Resources Programs

The Davidson County Extension office uses the resources of the University of Tennessee Agricultural Extension Service to conduct educational programs in agriculture, horticulture and natural resources.

Extension's agricultural programs provide the link between Land Grant College Research and individuals such as farmers, homeowners and agribusinesses. Educational programs are designed to encourage understanding and adoption of improved technology that relates to agriculture and our natural resources.

Programs in Consumer Horticulture include the Master Gardener Program which provides some intensive training to individuals willing to volunteer some time to educate others in horticulture.
